Yes I totally ripped this off crunchyroll because I am unoriginal and cannot think of better puns.
Awww, I love you too!

Whoa, that’s a big list to watch. Needless to say, I’ll be starting with Hunter X Hunter.
The match between Hisoka and Gon finally starts in this episode, but before that, Gon still has much more to learn. Gon and Killua both finally learn the 4th and last of the basics of Nen, Hatsu. Most parts of the first half of the episode is spent explaining it. Gon is a Strengthening/Enhancer type. Killua is a Transformation/Transmuter type. Nobody cares about Zushi, but he’s a Manipulation type. If you’re wondering why the different terms, its because I’m used to the older translation of the first season where instead of Enhancer/Transmuter/Conjurer/Emitter/Manipulation/Specialist, they used Strengthening/Transformation/Materialization/Emitter/Manipulation/Specialization. Its really no difference, but I just prefer to use the older translation. After mastering Hatsu, Gon and Killua have now officially graduated from the basic training of Nen, and Gon has also graduated from the Secret Hunter Exam. Now that they are both officially basic users of Nen, Gon challenges Hisoka to a fight in order to return the punch that Hisoka gave him during the 4th Hunter Exam (the player tag stealing one).
Let’s just be glad that Hisoka isn’t a pedo but just itching for good fights.
Next up: Accel World!
The hunt for Chrome Disaster begins. The Black Legion, consisting of Silver Crow, Cyan Pile and Black Lotus along with the requester Scarlet Rain head to Ikebukuro. Halfway through flight, they are interrupted by the Yellow Legion as well as its king Yellow Radio.
He has the avatar of a clown and that really reminds me of Hisoka. What will happen? I’m really looking forward to the fight fest next episode.
Next up: Space broozz!
The finalists have reached the location! Now all they have to do is sign a
contract disclaimer and they’re ready to take the exam! Of course what’s written on the disclaimer is probably something along the lines of ‘If you die its not NASA/JAXA’s fault’ etc. They are split into 3 teams, A, B and C. Their first challenge is to figure out what time is it.
While everyone starts calculating, Mutta simply writes down what time it is like a baws. How does he know? I guess we’ll find out next episode. In addition, I’m curious as to where the C team went. The anime only showed where Team A and Team B are, Team C wasn’t mentioned at all, but I guess you don’t really need to focus on the unimportant people right?
Next: Medaka Box!
The fight between Unzen and Medaka continues. Medaka in War God mode completely loses her humanity and subjects herself fully to wrath and anger, annihilating whoever pisses her off and doesn’t care about her failures to reform people.
This guy obviously never met Nanoha.
Next up: Polar Bear Cafe!
First half is about Penguin’s misunderstanding. Apparently Ms. Penko likes turtles.
I like turtles. I mean, who DOESN’T like turtles? In the next half we have Grizzly coming over and inviting Polar Bear out. Panda tags along because he’s bored and has nothing else to do.
Polar Bear and Panda then goes trololololol all over Grizzly in a myriad of puns, antics and purposeful-mess-ups. In the end Grizzly just takes it like the manly man he is and admits that it was fun.
Next: Sakamichi no Apollon
With this episode, Kaoru finally comes to understand what Ritsuko has been doing and they finally become more of a couple, although it wasn’t actually said. Meanwhile, Sentarou’s father decides to come back home and that causes Sentarou to remember what his father think he did when he was still a child. He decides to leave home and move elsewhere in order to avoid meeting his dad. What’s gonna happen?
When an anime has the girl walking in on the guy’s bath time, you know they’re not doing it for fanservice.
Finally: Nazo no Kanojo X!
This week, we have the showdown between Urabe and Tsubaki’s ex-crush. The ex-crush insists that Tsubaki chooses only after he tastes her drool and compare it with Urabe’s. Urabe steps in with a robot costume and offers a challenge. All Tsubaki has to do is guess who’s drool is it that he’s tasting. What he didn’t expect was for Urabe to be naked under that robot costume. Unafraid to step up to the challenge, ex-crush gets naked too and offers her drool to Tsubaki, who hesitates taking it.
Eventually he doesn’t and apologizes for it. Somehow the blindfold gets loosened and he gets slapped by both ladies in their birthday suits. Fun episode was fun, but it teaches a important moral: Never do to others what you do not what others to do to you.
3 minute shorts: Poyopoyo!
Cats are afraid of toads. Kkkkkkk.
Next: Amagami SS+ OVAs!
- 1: Tsukasa arc. This entire OVA is basically just Tsukasa costume fanservice.
- 2: Rihoko arc. Nice going Rihoko! Finally got your special end with Junichi!
- 3: Ai arc. Junichi and Ai are like 2 idiots in love. Its so nice to watch. AHHHH SWEET VANILLAAAA!
Section 2: Day 19 of 30 day challenge
Day 19 is ‘your guilty pleasure anime.’
For those who don’t know what guilty pleasure means, its something that is generally frowned upon but you somehow just love to do it. An example would be to eat other people’s leftovers (which I totally do and I don’t care about what others think.)
So here’s my guilty pleasure anime. It’s definitely got to be Yosuga no Sora.
I started watching this knowing that it has an incest end. Yes, I knew about it, but what I DIDN’T know about was that it had scenes beyond ordinary fanservice. Back then I also didn’t know it had an omnibus format, so I was a little bit confused after the first ending. What really stunned me at the first ending was THE SCENE. I wasn’t expecting that at all, also, while the anime continued on, I was expecting a typical harem show where the girls fawn all over the guy but the guy sticks to his imouto because incest end (without THE SCENE). But damn was I wrong. Why its my guilty pleasure is mainly because I actually enjoyed watching Yosuga no Sora. It actually has more storyline than those typical harem slice of lifes out there. However, because of THE SCENES, its not something I would recommend my younger readers (<18) to watch, though I personally watched it at 17 years old.
Storyline and SCENES apart, the anime actually has really good OST, comparable to Bakemonogatari (in terms of piano pieces).私もしたいな！
