No not yet, Teachers’ Day is tomorrow. But since it’s a Friday, many students are celebrating it and putting up a performance for their teachers right before they break for their term break. Happy Teachers’ Day!
Section 1: Episodes watched today
- Tari Tari 9
- Dakara Boku wa H ga Dekinai 8
- Polar Bear Cafe 22
- Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan 10 – 12 (End)
Starting off with Tari Tari!
The pacing of this show is really good. It’ll probably be a really good show regardless if you marathoned it or watched it week after week. I’m looking forward to see them in hero suits!
Another thing that’s almost unique to this show is that the characters talk over each other. You see that very little in anime, but rather common in real-life filming. Sometimes there are random chatter in the background when the camera pans across, but rarely do you hear a conversation going on while another is also being had. This is where I really like the anime. It has a sense of realism in it, normally people go into their own conversations even if the other pair is having one. And the sub group is doing an awesome job of subbing everything!
Next: Dakara Boku wa H ga Dekinai
Damn. I hate betrayal, even though I saw it coming. Still hate it to the core.
And I hate it especially when people say they have no choice. BITCH YOU WERE THE KEY TO THEIR PLAN, IF YOU DIDN’T COOPERATE THE PLAN WOULDN’T HAPPEN, DON’T GIVE ME THIS “I HAD NO CHOICE SHIT”. After that she regrets and proceeds to save her like nothing ever happened. Lisara then forgives her like nothing ever happened either. If I was Lisara I’d probably be tearing her head off right about now.
Next: Polar Bear Cafe!
This episode were all about penguins, different breeds of penguins, penguin problems, and then..
Penguin bad end.
Finally got around to finishing last season’s anime: Shiawase no Pan
Well, the story is fine I suppose. Plot holes here and there, never really explained where and how Kaguya came about, why are people after her etc. Just rescue mission and finish the show with more bread. It’s kinda meh in every way possible. No fanservice, little action, no coherent plot, no comedy.
A magic user out of no where starts supporting people, Rick suddenly gets all his skills back and shoots beams from his sword (lolwtf?). Yea, the last 3 episodes, actually no, make that almost the entire series. The entire series was just a jumbled up tale from start to finish. There’s really not much good points about it except maybe the voice actors and their voice acting. O well, at least winged swordsman was cool.
