Anime, daily life and randomness

O gawd, it’s starting tomorrow

Tomorrow is finally the day where everything goes into chaos as we adapt to the new system that we’ve been trained for. TIME TO BE BUSY!

Section 1: Episodes watched today

  • Isshuukan Friends 4
  • Mekaku City Actors 3
  • Escha & Logy 3
  • Puchimas!! 23

Starting off with Isshuukan Friends!
Ooohhh, looked like there was gonna be drama, but it appears that Fujimiya can only remember Kiryuu because she doesn’t consider him a friend, yet he’s made enough impact for her to remember him. Well.. if anything, it’s a safety net for Hase Yuuki.
Looks like next episode will have a character possibly voiced by Kana Asumi. Or at least she looks like she might be. This episode had a great end, I hope the next episode too!

Next: Mekaku City Actors!
Whoa, everything adds up okay now. We get an idea of what’s actually happening in episode 1, episode 2 was just a lead up to episode 3, and now everything’s just about tied together.
I’m curious as to how episode 4 will be like. Will they continue the story from episode 3 or will they start another story? Either way, the SHAFT animation is really evident here.

Next up: Escha & Logy!
Damn, this show is full of cute creatures. Even their summons are so cute ❤
Cute but useless though. Turns out the durian bombs saved the day in the end. I’m still surprised how the explosion didn’t kill everyone within the blast radius but yet destroyed the metal guardian. O WELL, IT’S ALCHEMY, DON’T GOTTA QUESTION SHIT

Lastly: Puchimas!
Looks like it’s another 2-parter(?)
O well, looking forward to next episode.

  1. Is Escha & Logy watchable? I’m curious after enjoying the game.

    • I have not played the game, but chances are, you might find the anime to be less entertaining after playing the game.

From a purely anime point of view, it’s been pretty okay. They’re planting small hints here and there, but the pacing is pretty decent for now.

Escha has quite a high pitched voice, but I’m still okay with it.
